My sweetheart's photo of the old door with vines, and my margins filled in with more vines and bricks to match.
NOT AS CHEESY AS YOU might THINK- it is striking mounted on the wall.

Crafting: Poster Collage and Frame.

This next sequence is a collage I made of Alaska items, see page (4) for the travel slides. Shown here is "before": poster nestled inside the frame. My budget was slim, so I painted an MDF frame, matching it to an old pair of antique lamps I have near where I'll display the poster collage. Cost about $15.00.
I purchased heavy textured paper in complementary colors of the poster, dark blue and vivid sunflower yellow. Cost about $2.00, three sheets of paper.
I measured the poster and the frame space, and realized by cutting along the 8.5 inch margin of the paper, I'd have enough to go around the margins, without creating a formal mat. I could then concentrate on the basic shapes to create: bars of blue simulating railroad tracks... Finally I placed photos and mementos on the collage, including an Alaska Railroad pin. I did not want to make a Da Vinci masterpiece, I just wanted to put away the Alaska stuff and frame my poster.
Hope you enjoy it!
.... in my weekly crisis of self-confidence, I wonder whether I tacked on too much stuff.

Along with Infection preventionists everywhere, we face a major challenge: how to design an isolation precautions sign that is effective, eye-catching-complete and easily complied with. Here are examples of signage used in Southern California on doors to isolation precautions rooms. Definitions of isolation: click here.
See below for examples of MANY ISOLATION SIGNS.
The challenge is to make standardized signs.
Patient Safety Alert:
And, duh, having all different signs means all different types of behavior, none cohesive. True in 2022.
Mr. David Musayev says
"place the sign outside of the room so I can work safely".
